Today I received a mail which said he can visit the sites via webproxy sites, but he cannot download the files, how to download them? It’s not a difficult thing, but one must change his own point of view, that is web proxy cannot do everything.

I send four web proxy sites per day which is used for reading news and articles, some pics, or some very little files like torrent and something like that. All webmasters of proxy sites know proxy alway eat up bandwith, so they try their best to reduce the bandwith and RAM use, the most useful way is to limite the size of downloading file, and they must do it to make sure the web proxy run well. So using web proxy to download file is not a good choice.

You may realize that I also send you free proxy servers everyday, it’ll be a very great use. Proxy is not like webproxy, generally speaking, they didnot limit so much, and they are not just for http and browsers. They can be used in all your tool which can connect with internet(almost all the tools/softwares have the proxy option).

Now, let me tell you how to download files from filtered sites with proxy servers.

To find the proxy servers is the first step, open ddday.com to choose the type of proxy server, if you cannot open ddday.com, please use any webproxy site from our newsletter.

1. to set up proxy with you browser. here’s how to set up firefox2 to work with proxy and How to set up Internet 7 to work with proxy

2. visit the site you want to unblock and findout the address of your downloading file.

3. set up proxy with you download software. Please email me if you donot have to set it up.

4. it’s over, please enjoy the files which downloaded from filtered sites.

For use of a web proxy you do not need to change your browser settings, to install additional programs or to make something else more complex. It is enough, if one opens a web page of CGI proxy in a browser, enters a required URL into the address field and press the “Go” button. The disadvantages in usage of the CGI proxies are presence of additional advertising (which adds a CGI proxy itself, they simply exist at the expense of such advertising), a limited FTP / HTTPS support (not always supported) and sometimes a CGI proxy do not allow to view pictures.

Someone told me it’s not necessary to show how to use web proxy, I aggree with him, but I guess may someone do not know it’s need change some settings to use the web proxy easier.

For example, If you donot want to see the ADs which in your proxied sites, as we know, most ads appeared by using javescript, so you just disable the js to block the ad. Usually, there’re options you can chooss under the address bar in frontpage, but some sites hide the options, so you need change them in the proxied pages, there’s a little form at the top of proxied pages. It’s a very way, but it’s useful. And for the same goes, some sites need javascript to achieve there’s functions, like ajax and something like that, then you need enable javescript.

You can find free web proxy sites in DDDay.com.

Proxies that focus on WWW traffic, are called web proxies. Many web Proxies attemp to block offensive web content.other web proxies reformat web pages for a specific purpose or audience(e,g. cell phones And PDAs or persons with disabilities)

Many organizations — including schools, corporations, and countries — use proxy servers to enforce acceptable network use policies (see content-control software) or to provide security, anti-malware and/or caching services. A traditional web proxy is not transparent to the client application, which must be configured to use the proxy (manually or with a configuration script). In some cases, where alternative means of connection to the Internet are available (e.g., a SOCKS server or NAT connection), the user may be able to avoid policy control by simply resetting the client configuration and bypassing the proxy. Furthermore administration of browser configuration can be a burden for network administrators.

Access control: Some proxy servers implement a logon requirement. In large organizations, authorized users must log on to gain access to the WWW. The organization can thus track usage to individuals.

Actually, web proxy script just set the internet server as a proxy server, to download the file on the proxy server and then pass it to web proxy user. So there’s a high request on the server which is used for webproxy.

so U can make your own proxy server if you have a dedicated server. We’ll told U how to make proxy sites.

What is a Proxy?

The word proxy literally means a person or thing that acts on the authority of another. Proxy is used in many settings but for this discussion we will use the term for web related information. When thinking about the web, proxy is attached to server, which is called a proxy server or a server that acts under the authority of another user which is not directly related to the original. Confusing? It can be but lets break it down to more simple terms.

A proxy server takes the place of another server when calling up certain websites and information on the world wide web. For instance, rather than using the connection that you have through the internet service provider, you are logging on to another server, then accessing the information. In doing so you are actually hiding who you are from the site which you have chosen.

In truth, proxy web surfing allows you to maintain anonymity while visiting the web pages and downloading across the internet. There are some issues when relating to this method of surfing. Some websites require an IP check, which is not possible with proxy surfing. However, for those that are afraid of hackers gaining access to their information proxy surfing makes perfect sense.

One of the most popular uses of proxy surfing is when the internet connection you have is protected by a firewall. This happens most often in a work or school setting and you can use the proxy server to access certain sites that are locked out through the firewall. It makes sure that there is no trail left behind to trace the access to your IP address.

In a word, Proxy can change your IPs and break firewalls. That’s the two great use of Proxy.

You can check up the most recently proxy servers and proxy sites in DDday.com.
